What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have accepted a cookie notice — so you don't have to repeat the same actions on every visit. Cookies do not give websites access to your device or personal files.
How We Use Cookies
The Bondwell website uses a small number of cookies. We divide them into four categories below. You can choose which optional categories to allow using the preference controls on this page.
Cookie Categories
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set only in response to your actions, such as accepting or declining cookie consent. Without these, parts of the website would not work correctly.
Examples: consent storage, security tokens · Duration: session or up to 12 months
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are most visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. The data is used to improve the website and is collected in aggregated, anonymised form.
Examples: Google Analytics · Duration: up to 14 months
Marketing Cookies
These cookies may be used to track visitors across websites and show relevant advertising. We currently use these only when running occasional online campaigns to inform people about our programmes. If you disable these, you may still see general advertising but it will be less relevant to your interests.
Examples: Facebook Pixel, Bing Ads · Duration: up to 180 days
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make on the website, such as your preferred language or region, so you don't have to set them again on your next visit.
Examples: language settings · Duration: up to 12 months
Third-Party Cookies
Some of our optional cookies are set by third-party services, including Google Analytics and advertising platforms (such as Facebook and Bing). These third parties have their own privacy policies governing how they use cookie data. We recommend reviewing those policies if you have questions about third-party data practices.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for essential functionality.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (up to 14 months for analytics, up to 180 days for marketing). Can be cleared manually via your browser settings.
