Last Updated: 8 July 2025 · Effective: 8 July 2025

1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, booking a programme, attending a session, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or book a programme.

Our programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and above. By booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Nature of Our Services

Bondwell provides general educational workshops and coordination sessions for families dealing with periods of transition. All content delivered is educational in nature.

Important: Nothing delivered in any Bondwell session constitutes legal advice, financial advice, psychological counselling, medical guidance, or any other form of regulated professional advice. Bondwell facilitators are not registered lawyers, financial planners, counsellors, therapists, or healthcare professionals. Participants are responsible for seeking appropriate registered professionals for any formal personal matters.

Our programmes are available in Johor, Malaysia. Enquiries from elsewhere in Malaysia are welcome, but sessions are held at our Johor Bahru office unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

4. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from Bondwell. A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.

Bondwell reserves the right to decline a booking at its discretion, including where the enquiry falls outside our scope or where attendance by a particular participant would be inappropriate given the nature of our programmes.

5. Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all materials specified in the programme description. Payment is due in full before the first session begins. We accept bank transfer. Payment details will be provided in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Where Bondwell cancels a session for reasons within our control, a full refund will be provided or an alternative date offered at your choice.

6. Programme Delivery

7. User Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

Bondwell reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful to other attendees. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

8. Intellectual Property

All session materials — including templates, checklists, guides, and frameworks — are the intellectual property of Bondwell. Once distributed to participants as part of a programme, materials may be used freely by those participants for personal family use. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written consent from Bondwell.

9. Disclaimers

Our programmes are provided for general educational purposes only. Bondwell makes no representations about outcomes for any individual family. Results — including improvements in communication or document organisation — will vary depending on each family's circumstances, effort, and other factors outside our control.

Website content is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute advice of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Bondwell's total liability to any participant in connection with a programme shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the specific programme giving rise to the claim.

Bondwell shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from attendance at our programmes or use of our website, including but not limited to loss arising from reliance on session content as professional advice.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bondwell harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms & Conditions or your conduct during a programme.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate a booking in accordance with the cancellation terms set out in Section 5. Bondwell may terminate access to our website or decline future bookings from a participant whose conduct is inconsistent with these Terms.

Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination of this Agreement.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from participation in a programme shall first be addressed through informal discussion between the parties. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to mediation under the Mediation Act 2012 (Malaysia) before any legal proceedings are commenced.

The courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not resolved through mediation.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

Bondwell may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of the website or booking of programmes after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of those changes. The version in force at the time of a booking governs that booking.
